You are invited to join thisa powerful conference that will be bringing together folks from around the world who are interested in and aware of the impact of the effects of natural birth on our next generation, this fall!   The conference will be held at the prestigious  ecovillage in Europe~ FindHorn, which is respected for its impeccability for ecological awareness and living in harmony with the earth. 
Alongside some very  highly reputed authors and experts in the field of natural birth, Hope Medford will be presenting on Rhythm, Voice, and the Drum: supporting Pregnancy and Childbirth.  This will be an exciting exploration  into sound and co-created journey into our inner wisdom of birth.  ​

We had an inspiring journey~ following through a 40 hour course together and learning from a variety of very talented wise women teachers on topics from massage and nutrition for pregnancy, to plant medicine techniques, to art creating our own medicine shields! 
Many of the students completed the course receiving their certification at the end, we were so proud! 

We began another journey~ Women's Healing Arts for the Childbearing Year, Class II !  This was another exciting opportunity to invite some amazing instructors to join us and share thier knowledge as we sat in circle listening and asking questions.  This intimate setting was very conducive to learning, opening up and  receiving.  Our 4 our classes gave us time to listen to each speaker talk story, then practice exercises in that modality, then respond and ask what might still be unclear and lastly write and record one's reflections.

Artemis Began with an online presence  that attempted to share both its feeling of sisterhood as well as educational opportunities.  

After several years learning, assisting, and practicing as a midwife,  I began to realize there were areas in my education that were lacking.  These were holistic approaches to birth and pregnancy wellness that included body mind and spirit of family.  I wanted to search these out and make them easily accessible for my peers and women coming behind me~ so that this knowledge could be preserved for the benefit of our future generations.  Thus the concept of Artemis Healing Arts was born!
