Tami Kent, MSPT
Tami Kent, MSPT, is a holistic women's healthcare provider, as well as mother and writer. She guides women in receiving the wisdom of their bodies and reclaiming the wild in themselves. Tami maintains a women's health private practice in southeast Portland.

Based on her work with women in the pelvic space as a women's health physical therapist, Tami has created a whole new way of discovering the female form. Witnessing a universal body disconnect in even her most aware clients, Tami began a journey into the realm of the feminine. If the root of the female body is the sacred doorway that initiates each human into this world, why will no woman own this place? Exploring this theme and other inspirations, Tami guides women in recovering their sacred pelvic bowl and reveals how this process serves as the basis for rediscovering one's own wild feminine.

Tami teaches such topics as the female energy system and working with organ energies, the physical body & mapping pelvic tension patterns, and trauma: restoring equilibrium in the pelvic space. She also discusses how to use your female energy system for nourishing yourself and all that you mother. Rituals in themselves, her classes blend storytelling, visualization, and creative exercise to offer a framework for working with spirit even as you mother your creations.

With a master's degree in physical therapy and the ability to read energetic patterns of the body, Tami provides a bridge between the realms of modern medicine and traditional women's wisdom. She is lead author and researcher for a scientific study published in the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has published poetry in Mothering Magazine and the We' moon datebook. She is the author of the newly released book, Wild Feminine: Finding Power, Spirit, & Joy in the Root of the Female Body.

Tami has recently published a book, Wild Feminine: Finding Power, Spirit, & Joy in the Root of the Female Body, more info at www.wildfeminine.com

"Tami's work is graceful and gently radical; she puts words to experiences and concepts that most women have not had affirmed or even articulated."
