Kelley Burke , LMT
Hope MedfordMy main goal is to help make your birth plan a reality with non-judgmental advocacy and a keen ear to listen to and support you during this exciting time!

Kelley is a birth doula and licensed massage therapist specializing in labor support and treating muscluar pain during pregnancy and postpartum with mothertreebirth.com.

Her 2-year experience in the Peace Corps living in a rural African village in the nation of Zambia gave Kelley a special perspective on the birthing process. Seeing women enter labor feeling confident and knowledgeable about their bodies, as well as supported and encouraged by other women and their own innate wisdom, was something she found truly inspiring and wanted to bring back home with her.

Kelley is currently completing her masters degree in Education at Portland State University specializing in ecology, culture and learning. She is using the program to explore the ways in which we cultivate our knowledge, skills, feelings and values around labor and birth.

Today Kelley combines her unique combination of experiences in Zambia, her graduate level studies, doula training, and her massage therapy license to assist in creating a positive birth experience and enhance the overall well-being of the families she supports. Specializing in integrating deep tissue and Swedish massage, Kelley uses techniques specifically developed to enhance pregnant, laboring, and postpartum women's comfort, health and enjoyment.

“Only with trust, faith and support can the woman allow the birth experience to enlighten and empower her." - Claudia Lowe
